Strophe: Die Tiroler sind lustig, Die Tiroler sind froh, sie trinken ein Gläschen und machen dann so: Erst dreht sich das Weibchen, Dann dreht sich der Mann, Dann tanzen sie beide Die Gasse (oder Straße) entlang.
Gattung: Kindertänze
Anlass: Die Kinder stehen sich in zwei Reihen gegenüber, fasse sich bei den Händen und bilden ein Tor. So steht Paar an Paar. Alle singen und tanzen mit den Füßen auf der Stelle. Dann dreht sich das Weibchen, darauf der Mann, dann tanzen beide die Gasse, die die anderen Kinder bilden, entlang. Die Tore werden dabei nicht gebildet, damit das Paar besser hindurchkommen kann. Am Schluss bleibt das hindurchgetanzte Paar stehen und bildet wieder ein Tor. Das Lied und das Spiel beginnen von vorne und werden so oft wiederholt, bis alle Paare einmal getanzt haben.
