1540–1989, 3891 Karten Die Sammlung umfasst Karten, Stiche und Pläne mit dem Schwerpunkt des Gebiets des heutigen Kreises Kleve. Im Bestand befinden sich historische Karten großer Kartographen, wie z. B. Sebastian Münster (* 1488, † 1552), Ludovico Guiccardini (* 1521, † 1589), Christian Sgrothen (* um 1525, † 1603), Franz Hogenberg (* 1535, † 1590), Willem Janszoon Blaeu (* 1571, † 1638), Henricus Hondius (* 1597, † 1651), Nicolaus Visscher (* 1618, † 1679), Johann Baptist Homann (* 1664, † 1724) und Matthäus Seutter (* 1678, † 1757). Ebenfalls im Bestand enthalten sind Nachdrucke der Karten von Jean Joseph Tranchot (* 1752, † 1815) und von Philipp Friedrich Carl Ferdinand Freiherr von Müffling genannt Weiß (* 1775, † 1851) aus den Jahren 1803 bis 1820 sowie der Karten der Preußischen Uraufnahme aus der Zeitschicht 1836 bis 1850. Auch einige vom Landesvermessungsamt Nordrhein-Westfalen auf der Grundlage der Deutschen Grundkarte und der Topographischen Karte herausgegebenen Karten befinden sich im Bestand. Darüber hinaus sind Karten unterschiedlicher Herkunft zu historischen Themen und Entwicklungen ab 1900 überliefert, wie z. B. zur Regulierung der deutsch-niederländischen Grenze nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Ebenfalls überliefert sind moderne Karten zur Kreisgeschichte, wie z. B. Freizeit- und Wanderkarten, Karten zur Infrastruktur, Stadtpläne, Planungsunterlagen und Baupläne. Der Bestand wird fortgeführt. Der Bestand ist im Kreisarchiv digital einsehbar. The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
