Regest: Michael Kembler und Hans Gerber, bürgerliche Inwohner zu Betzingen, bekennen für sich und ihre Erben, daß sie Franz Helbling, Bürgermeister und Christoph Dochtermann, Gerberzunftmeister, als Armenpflegern zu Reutlingen um eine von diesen erkaufte Behausung allhie, zwischen Hans Schirm und dem Garten von Kembler und Gerber gelegen, hinten wieder an Kembler und Gerber und vorne an Samuel Gerbers Hofraiti stoßend, schuldig geworden sind zusammen 40 Gulden guter, gangbarer Währung, nämlich Kembler 30 und Gerber 10 fl. Sie versprechen, diese den Armenpflegern jederzeit auf Erfordern zu erlegen, inzwischen aber jährlich auf Martini, erstmals 1652, mit 2 Gulden zu verzinsen. Bei Säumigkeit in der Reichung des Zinses oder zu Zeit der Ablösung mit Erstattung des Hauptguts haben die Armenpfleger das Recht, die genannte Behausung als Unterpfand anzugreifen, bis sie um alles das, worum der Angriff geschehen ist, gänzlich zufrieden gestellt sind.
