Sprengel: außer der Stadt Rees die 1738 aufgehobenen Gerichte Retter, Isselburg, Grietherbusch. Die neue kleve-märkische Justizeinrichtung von 1753 beließ das mit je einem Richter und Gerichtsschreiber besetzte Gericht zu Rees, Hetter, Grietherbusch und Isselburg auf dem vorigen Fuße. Dieses Gericht war aber durch Zusammenlegung des noch 1733 selbständigen Gerichts für die Hetter, Isselburg und Grietherbusch mit dem Gericht Rees entstanden, das 1612 wie später außer für die Stadt auch für Aspel, Groin, Hurl, Töwen, Sonsfeld, Haldern, Haffen, Bergswick und Loikum zuständig war - doch waren 1647 Sonsfeld-Töwen, 1649 Haffen und 1661 Hurl ausgeschieden. Das Gericht hat mindestens bis zum Übergang an Frankreich Dezember 1810 in dem 1753 festgelegten Rahmen bestanden.

When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
