Möglicherweise handelt es sich um eine Schuldforderung an die Gemeinde, für die die Schöffen haften sollten. Der Kläger forderte dann wegen der Weigerung zu zahlen Umschlag auf die Güter der Beklagten. 1684/85 verhandelte man um die Vorlage von Beweisdokumenten und die Taxation sowie um ein Säumnisurteil gegen die Beklagten. Am 19.9.1684 z. B. wurde beschlossen, mit der Taxation bis zum nächsten Termin zu warten, um den Beklagten Gelegenheit zu geben, "bey alhießiger Gemeindten" Geldmittel zu beschaffen. Im Juni 1685 hofft Sieger, dass die Gemeinde "sie dieser Bürgschafft entsetzen werdte, sunsten sie (= Sieger und Hamecher) ihren Regress ahn derselben ... vorbehalten haben wolten". 1692 wird das Dekret vom 19.9.1684 wieder vorgelegt. Das Gerichtsverfahren geht also weiter.
