Der in der Kaserne aufgebahrte Leichnam des Totengräberknechts Carl Gottlob Langfritz, den sein Handlanger Philipp Feugel (= Feigel) am 3. Dezember 1787 ermordet, und die Leiche im Totengräberhäuschen auf dem Johannisfriedhof verscharrt hatte, wo sie am 7. Dezember entdeckt wurde. Unter der Bank die Tatwaffen: Grabschaufel und Pickel.Der begleitende Text ist gedruckt. Beschreibung des Tathergangs, der Wunden etc. Längeres Gedicht mit dem Titel "Erzählung dieses Mordthat." Feigel, ein 23-jähriger Gärtnerssohn, war seinen Eltern ungehorsam und hatte schon einmal mit einem Stein nach seiner Mutter geworfen. Langfritz war seit einem halben Jahr Oberknecht des Totengräbermeisters gewesen und hatte als solcher die übliche Anwartschaft auf die Meisterstelle. Das Gedicht behauptet als Tatmotiv die Hoffnung des Täters auf die Stelle seines Opfers, damit er, der Täter, endlich heiraten könne.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
