Bestandsbeschreibung: Kirchenkreis Braunfels Der Kirchenkreis Braunfels ist deckungsgleich mit dem ehemaligen Fürstentum Solms-Braunfels. 1806 mediatisiert, kam das überwiegend reformiert geprägte Territorium zunächst an Nassau, dann 1815 an Preußen. Die Fürsten von Solms behielten bis 1848 noch eigene Konsistorialrechte. Inhalt: Gustav Adolf Verein; Hilfsverein zur Unterstützung der Witwen und Waisen verstorbener Prediger; Kirchenvisitationen; Kreissynodalmatrikel; Pfarrei Niederweisel 1652-1806; Sitzungsprotokoll des ref.
