Vorwort: 1. Biographie und Bestandsgeschichte
Die Familie La Roche stammt aus Frankreich und teilte sich frühzeitig in verschiedene Äste, die zum Teil nach Deutschland kamen. Zahlreiche Mitglieder dieser Familie traten in den hessischen, preußischen oder französischen Militärdienst ein. Der Zweig der Familie La Roche-Starkenfels hatte seinen Lebensmittelpunkt auf dem Gut Monsheim und in Wieblingen bei Heidelberg.
Samuel von La Roche Edler Herr von Starkenfels erhielt am 26. Juni 1713 durch den deutschen Kaiser Karl VI. den Titel eines Freiherrn.
Friedrich Freiherr von La Roche-Starkenfels wurde am 2. Februar 1700 geboren und verstarb am 5. März 1780.
Susanne Esther von Katte, geb. Freiin von La Roche wurde vor 1700 geboren und verstarb am 6. September 1780.
Die Unterlagen wurden im Stadtarchiv Berlin nach 1945 aufgefunden.
2. Bestandsbeschreibung
Der Bestand enthält die Erhebung in den Freiherrenstand durch Kaiser Karl VI. (1713), Stammtafeln (1831–1909) und einem Lageplan der Grabstätte La Roche auf dem Berliner Invalidenfriedhof.
Der Bestand besteht aus zwei Akten (0,30 lfm) mit der Laufzeit (1713) 1831–1909. Er wurde mit der Software Augias-Archiv verzeichnet und ist über die Findmittel Datenbank und Findbuch zugänglich.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
