Vorwort: 1. Biographie
Ferdinand Ehrmann wurde am 25. März 1876 als Sohn des Webermeisters Ferdinand Ehrmann und seiner Frau Amalia, geb. Altmann, in Haan (Kreis Mettmann) geboren. Nach dem Besuch der Volksschule trat er am 28. April 1890 in Haan beim Bürgermeisteramt als Lehrling in die Verwaltung ein. 1893 übernahm er eine Sekretärsstelle in Burg an der Wupper. Von 1894 bis 1896 war er in Dabringhausen als Gemeindesekretär und von 1896 bis 1901 als Amtssekretär und Bürovorsteher in Volmarstein tätig.
1899 heiratete Ferdinand Ehrmann die Lehrerstocher Anna Otto. Aus dieser Ehe gingen fünf Söhne und eine Tochter hervor.
Seit 1902 arbeitete er bei der Stadt Witten (Ruhr) als Verwaltungssekretär, Stadtrentmeister und Stadtkämmerer. Am 8. Januar 1920 ernannte man ihn zum besoldeten Stadtrat. Mit dem 30. April 1920 schied er aus der Stadtverwaltung Witten aus und nahm die Stelle des Verbandsdirektors beim Verband der Kommunalbeamten und -angestellten Preußens e. V. in Berlin an. Ehrenamtlich übernahm er die Leitung des Zentralverbandes der Provinzialbeamten und -angestellten Preußens e. V. und des Reichsbundes der Kommunalbeamten und -angestellten Deutschlands e. V. (Deutscher Gemeindebeamtenbund). Während der Liquidierung des Verbandes der Kommunalbeamten und -angestellten Preußens e. V. 1937 trat er in den Altersruhestand. Am 19. Februar 1944 verstarb er in Berlin.
2. Bestandsbeschreibung
Die Unterlagen wurden im Juli 1987 im Landesarchiv Berlin als Bestand formiert.
Enthält:
Lebenslauf (Kopie).- Anstellung beim Verband der Kommunalbeamten und -angestellten Preußens e. V. in Berlin.- Gehalts- und Versorgungsangelegenheiten.
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
