Regest: Die Bürgermeister und Vorsteher des Wigbolds Freckenhorst Johann Schevel und Stephan Runtenberg erklären, ihnen sei zu Ohren gekommen, bei der jüngst abgehaltenen Zusammenkunft der Gutsherren des Amtes Sassenberg im Mühlenhof zu Warendorf sei beschlossen worden, bei der anstehenden Willkomm-Schatzung das Wigbold Freckenhorst mit mehr als den bisher üblichen 16 Reichstaler zu besteuern. Daher lassen die Bürgermeister folgende alte Leute befragen, ob das Wigbold jemals mehr als die 16 Reichstaler gezahlt habe: Gerdt Jaspers, Krummacher, Baumann, Heinrich Hasenkamp, Henneker, Westerrott, Runde, Heggeringhaus, Langenkamp, Hoving, Hermann Hasenkamp, Johann Frantz, Joest Pille, Quade, Berndt Bohning, Gerdt Schade, Joest Loling, Johann Waltmann, Haver, Menße, Frintrup, Preede, Hermann Waltmann, Heinrich Waltmann, Stephan Kartelmeyer, Jorgen Glöning, Brockelmann, Hartlieb Daniels, darunter einige 70 oder auch 80 Jahre alt. Sie alle verneinen dies, besonders der 80jährige Johann Bohning, der über 30 Jahre in Freckenhorst wohnt, ebenso Johann Wibbert, 80 Jahre alt und seit 40 Jahren in Freckenhorst. Verhandelt zu Freckenhorst im Haus des Johann Schevel am Markt. Zeugen: Küster Wilhelm Riemenschneider, Schuhmacher Bernardt Knapheide, Hermann Verhoff, Johann Hoppe und Jürgen Lohmann. Der Notar Johannes Heidenreich Menslage bestätigt dies und unterschreibt.
