Bestandsbildner: Stud. rer. nat. u. med. in Dorpat, Leipzig, Freiburg und Bonn; 1909 Dr. phil. Leipzig, 1912 Mag. zool. Dorpat. 1913-1915 in der Abt. für Fischerei und Fischzucht des Russischen Landwirtschaftlichen Instituts; dann nach Sibirien verschickt. 1920-1923 Gründer und Leiter des Histologischen und des Neuropathologischen Laboratoriums am Physiologischen bzw. am Neuropathologischen Institut in Dorpat. 1923-1925 o. Prof. in Kaunas. Nach Schließung dieses Lehrstuhls 1925-1932 Geschäftsführer der Partei der Deutschen Litauens und des Kulturverbandes der Deutschen Litauens. 1933-1938 o. Prof. der Zoologie am Herder-Institut in Riga; 1939-1940 Reichsarchiv Posen, dann bei Böhringer Mannheim; nach 1945 in Ziegelhausen bei Heidelberg.

BZK no.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.

This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
