Form und Inhalt: Wegen seiner Überschuldung war Fürst Friedrich von Sayn-Wittgenstein - Hohenstein im Jahre 1810 von der großherzoglich hessischen Regierung unter staatliches Sequester gestellt worden, für dessen Durchführung eine besondere Debit- und Administrationskommission eingesetzt war. Nach dem endgültigen Übergang der Grafschaft an Preußen 1816 wurde an ihre Stelle eine preußische Kommission mit dem Sitz in Laasphe bestellt, die ihrerseits bis 1835 der Aufsicht des Oberlandesgerichts Münster, dann der des Oberlandesgerichts Arnsberg unterstellt war.
Zu vergleichen sind die Bestände Oberlandesgericht Münster III (Kommissionsakten des Oberlandesgerichtsrats v. Hartmann) sowie Großherzogtum Hessen VIII und Grafschaft Wittgenstein V (Akten der Kommission in Laasphe)
Übernommen wurden die Akten vom Landgericht Arnsberg mit den Zugängen 15/1937 und 5/1947.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
