Bestandsbeschreibung: Seit 1941 bestand die Dienststelle des Deutschen Wehrwirtschaftsoffiziers in Italien und Sonderbeauftragten des OKH/Heereswaffenamt Rom. Nach mehreren Umbenennungen hieß sie ab 1. April 1944 Feldwirtschaftsoffizier beim Bevollmächtigten General der Deutschen Wehrmacht in Italien (RH 31), ab 1. Oktober 1944 Feldwirtschaftsoffizier Westitalien, und unterstand seit der Kapitulation Italiens im September 1943 dem Reichsminister für Rüstung und Kriegsproduktion. Seinem Generalbeauftragten für Italien wurde eine Reihe von Rüstungskommandos unterstellt.

Inhaltliche Charakterisierung: Ins Bundesarchiv sind nur Kriegstagebücher des Feldwirtschaftsoffiziers Westitalien und seiner Vorgänger (1941-1944) sowie der Feldwirtschaftsoffiziere Florenz, Mailand und Turin (1943-1944) gelangt.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.

This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
