Enthält: Johann Matthias Wolter (Schöffe am Kerpener Gericht) entschuldigt sich bei seinem Vorgesetzten, dass er wegen Unpässlichkeit seit dem 22.12.[1738] die ihm aufgetragene Reise nach Lommersum noch nicht hat vornehmen können. Hinzu käme, dass der Gerichtsbote von Lommersum, als er diesem in Gegenwart des Schultheißen den Gegenstand seines Auftrags samt Nennung der (betroffenen) Eingesessenen von Lommersum mitteilte, ihn wissen ließ, dass er ohne Rechtstitel dafür keine Ladungen vornehmen sondern lieber (den Dienst) quittieren wolle, das man ihm schon drei Jahre lang sein Gehalt von 3 Maltern Roggen vorenthalten habe und er nur mit großer Anstrengung seinen täglichen Unterhalt verdienen könne. Auch deshalb wäre die mühsame Reise nach seiner Genesung wohl vergeblich.
