Geschichte des Bestandsbildners: Das Staatliche Forstamt Sieber ging aus der Königlich-Hannoverschen Oberförsterei Sieber hervor. Der Forstamtsbezirk des Forstamts Sieber mit Sitz in Herzberg umfasste die Revierförstereien Hohefeld, Königshof, Langfast, Lilienberg und Wurzelberg. Ab den 1980er Jahren war das Forstamt auch für die Verwaltung des Gemeindefreien Gebiets Harz im Landkreis Osterode zuständig. Im Zuge der Umstrukturierung der Forstverwaltung wurde das Forstamt Sieber zum 30. September 1994 aufgehoben und ging zum 1. Oktober 1994 zusammen mit dem ebenfalls aufgelösten Forstamt Kupferhütte weitgehend im neuen Forstamt Herzberg auf. Die Zuständigkeit für die Revierförsterei Königshof ging dagegen auf das Forstamt Lauterberg über.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.

In the sources, the persecutee is sometimes referred to as ‘Geschädigter’ (aggrieved party) and the applicant as ‘Anspruchsberechtigter’(claimant).
