Nachlasskatalog Bodo Plachta (1988), Nr. 518 Das Gedicht entstand zum Namenstag des Hülshoffer Hausgeistlichen Caspar Wilmsen, dem Dreikönigsfest 1838; über die Entstehung und Widmung an Wilmsen schreibt die Droste in einem Brief an Jenny von Laßberg vom 15. Februar 1838. Auf dem Vorsatzblatt des Stammbuchs gibt ein Eintrag in blauer Tinte: "Erworben von Prof. J. Meier - Freiburg / S. K. [Schulte Kemminghausen]" einen Hinweis auf Erwerbung für die Droste-Gesellschaft bzw. deren Vermittlung durch den Freiburger Mediävisten und Volkskundler John Meier (1864-1953, ab 1912 Ordinarius in Freiburg, gründete dort 1914 das deutsche Volksliedarchiv; Publikation zur Droste: J. Meier und Erich Seemann: Volksliedaufzeichnungen der Dichterin Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. In: Jahrbuch für Volksliedforschung, 1, 1928, S. 79-118).

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person.
