Within the framework of the DFG project "Sachthematische Zugang im Archivportal-D am Beispiel 'Weimarer Republik'" a team from the Landesarchiv Baden-Württemberg, the Bundesarchiv, FIZ Karlsruhe and the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek is currently designing new ways of indexing and mediating archival material, using sources on the Weimar Republic as examples.
On March 18, 2019, project team representatives from the Federal Archives, the State Archives of Baden-Württemberg and FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure presented the project structure and first results after about nine months of project duration during a one-day workshop in the Federal Archives Koblenz.
On June 21, 2018, the project partners from the Federal Archives, the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek, the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek, FIZ Karlsruhe, and the Landesarchiv Baden-Württemberg gathered for a kick-off meeting in the lecture hall of the Main State Archives in Stuttgart.
The Landeskirchliche Archiv Kiel, until Pentecost 2012 the Nordelbische Kirchenarchiv, is one of the three locations of the Landeskirchliche Archiv der Nordkirche. It houses the holdings of the former regional churches of Eutin, Hamburg, Lübeck and Schleswig-Holstein, which existed until 1977.
The LWL Archive Office for Westphalia houses the archive of the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) and the Westphalian Literature Archive. In addition, the Archives Office is responsible for active archival advice for public, non-governmental archives in Westphalia-Lippe.
