Archives join Archivportal-D for the first time on a regular basis by providing metadata on their holdings as well as digital reproductions. Archives already present on Archivportal-D increase the metadata on their holdings or increase the number of digital reproductions. With this new series we want to present quarterly updates on the growth of the information on Archivportal-D. Each month, we will also highlight one item joining the platform.

We are happy that the following archives have started to provide records to us:

• Staatstheater Augsburg Archiv – 19 records incl. inkl. digital objects
• Zentralarchiv der Evangelisch-methodistischen Kirche in Deutschland – approx. 5,000 records
• Gemeinsames Archiv des Kreises Steinburg und der Stadt Itzehoe – approx. 19,000 records with digital objects

The Augsburg State Theater archives hold records from the Municipal Theater Augsburg. These records were digitized and added to Archivportal-D. One of the earliest records is a list of performances of the symphony orchestra connected to the Theater. It demonstrates which symphonies were performed and the early start of the performances beginning in 1945 after the end of World War II.
